Triathlon trainingcamp
Embrun France: May 31 – June 7, 2025
Where better to prepare for the triathlon season than in Embrun?
Here, you train on the toughest triathlon course in Europe — after that, everything else feels easy.
Our training camp is the perfect place to enjoy a fantastic week and to prepare yourself physically and technically for the season.
Triathlon trainingcamp Embrun
What to expect?
Under the guidance of coach and former professional triathlete Edo van der Meer, all aspects of triathlon will be addressed throughout the week. The carefully designed program includes not only cycling and running sessions through the beautiful surroundings, but also a strong focus on swim technique and physical training.
The small group size allows us to tailor the program to the individual needs of each athlete.
During the training week, you’ll stay with the other participants in the appartments of Camping La Vieille Ferme in the French town of Embrun. From the campsite, it’s just a 10-minute walk to both the swimming pool and open water. Right outside the campsite, you’re already on the Embrunman run course — and thankfully, we also have access to plenty of flat sections.
For cycling, there is a wide variety of scenic routes and challenging climbs in the immediate area, including the legendary Col d’Izoard and the loop around France’s largest reservoir, Lac de Serre-Ponçon.
Useful Information
You can choose to stay either in the campsite’s apartments or on the campsite itself. In the evenings, we come together for a shared dinner at the restaurant, where a generous meal is served.
Breakfast and lunch are at your own expense; a supermarket is just a 10-minute walk away.
May 31 and June 7 are travel days. We’ll kick things off with a group dinner at 7:30 PM on the 31st, and wrap up the week with a festive closing dinner on June 6.
